THE HOUSE AT PINE STREET PARk

The homeowners had been busy remodeling their home since purchasing and although they enjoyed outdoor entertaining in the back yard it lacked a level area for seating and was lacking defined areas for planting beds, a cutting garden and for growing edibles
“Before” fire circle area
The garage was reached by crossing the lawn and carefully driving within the tire tracks
“Before” driveway tracks to garage
One goal was to retain as much lawn area as possible and still have garage access. The new “driveway” area was laid with a product that would allow the lawn to be driven over without damaging the grass
Installing the stabilizing cells for the new driveway
New hardscaping connects the deck with the outdoor fire circle, the garage and the sideyard

Creating Ease in Gardening Spaces

An existing difficult to maintain sloped lawn was removed and replaced with terracing

The newly planted terraces will bring the garden into a closer connection with the patio and deck

The homeowners often comment on how much they enjoy their new garden, and that’s the greatest reward a designer can receive
