Haller Lake Enclosed Garden
This gem of a garden was overrun with weeds, prolifically self-seeding perennials and ancient sun starved roses and raspberries. But amongst the foliage were some fantastic plants and buried rocks.
With a good amount of weeding and careful fine pruning of mature Mahonia, Sarcococca, Sword ferns and Rhododendrons a beautiful garden emerged.
To enhance these existing plants Irish moss, Japanese Forest Grass, a Japanese maple and dwarf conifers were added. A new stepping stone path was incorporated for access into the garden and a basalt dish rock for a small water feature.
